shay is somewhere between your camera roll and your group chat. you don’t think too hard. you like the pic, so you post up. and you post up daily: the hot selfies, the late-night Uber, the boring meeting face, the chaos from Saturday night, the fit check, and everything in between. the more you post, the more shay gets to know you, and the more personalized the reflections get. so what are you waiting for? your first reflection is waiting… (p.s. follow @shaysreflections on ig for live updates.)

Verdict
PREVIEW and shay's reflections both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of shay's reflections's written reviews are positive against 55% of PREVIEW's. shay's reflections also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days). PREVIEW's advantage is ratings volume (45K vs 18) and chart position (#198 vs unranked). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PREVIEW sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. shay's reflections asks for nothing beyond the download.
PREVIEW holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PREVIEW has 45K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of PREVIEW's written reviews are positive against 100% of shay's reflections's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
PREVIEW ships an update every 9 days, shay's reflections every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
