Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Positive Peers at free against GymScore's subscription. Positive Peers also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). GymScore's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
