Findu vs DOGSY

Findu — a simple way to find each other and stay aware Tired of meeting friends without a clear address—or having an address in a city you don’t know? Try Findu. When both sides agree, you no longer need to keep pinging locations in other apps. Everything is clear on one relationship map. When a group is heading to the same place but everyone is a different distance away, when is the smartest time to leave? We don’t replace turn-by-turn navigation—but we give you the most intuitive sense of where everyone is, so you can choose a better moment to head out. Special attention: keep an eye on people you care about; when you’re out alone, family can know where you are—only if you allow it. We just want life to be simpler. Life was meant to be this simple. —————— Main features • Relationship map See yourself and friends on the map together. Refresh, fit all, navigate, and resolve addresses. Distance and estimated arrival at a glance. • Location sharing & trails With sharing on, your location updates on the interval you set. View your own and friends’ trails to revisit the journey. • Friends & groups Search and add friends, handle requests, set notes. Organize with groups and control who can see your location by group. • Privacy controls Master switch, group visibility, per-friend permission, and whether strangers can see your last location. Without your consent, others can’t casually view where you are. —————— More • Adjustable location strategy: use faster updates so friends see your progress more promptly, or longer intervals to save battery. Configure under Me → Location settings. • Background sharing: with Always location permission and sharing enabled, Findu can keep reporting at your chosen interval while in the background. Turn sharing off anytime. • Languages: Simplified Chinese and English. Location sharing, friends, and the map are free core features. Trail extras may be described in-app. —————— Battery & GPS notice Map refresh and friend location use GPS / location services. With sharing on and the app running in the background, Findu may use more power than typical apps and affect battery life. Extended GPS use drains the battery faster. Depending on your settings, Findu may continue collecting location when the UI isn’t open (to share with authorized friends), which also increases battery use. Choose a suitable report interval and turn sharing off when you no longer need it. Location may be delayed or inaccurate. Do not rely on Findu as your only safety or emergency tool. —————— Privacy Location is sensitive. Findu shows it only within mutual consent and the permissions you configure. You can stop reporting anytime and adjust group or per-friend visibility. We don’t show your live location to unauthorized users, and we don’t sell your personal information. Please read and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy before use.

DOGSY is the free app for your dog's whole life. What is usually spread across many apps is here in one: find or offer dog care and walks, events, DOGSYgram, alerts, guide, dog record and messenger. No subscription, no commission – in 44 languages, wherever you and your dog are. FIND AND OFFER CARE Dog sitters, dog walking, care at your home or at the sitter's, holiday care with overnight stays, dog taxi, short visits for feeding and checking in, and a temporary emergency home. You pick the service and the radius and arrange everything directly in the messenger. Whoever offers care sets their own price and keeps the full amount – DOGSY takes no commission. You can have your profile verified with a voluntary ID check; after every care arrangement, both sides rate each other with dog paws. REQUESTS AND DOGSHARING Describe what you need – matching Dogsyaner nearby are notified and get in touch with you. Or become a dog's godparent through Dogsharing and regularly share walks and responsibility with the owner – always unpaid. ALERTS THAT ARRIVE IN TIME Poison bait reports from the community, visible immediately and additionally checked by the DOGSY team. Official warnings from the authorities, for example about blue-green algae, reach Dogsyaner in the affected area. With an alert address saved, you receive alerts as push notifications within the radius you choose. And the missing-dog alarm: if a dog runs off, the report reaches Dogsyaner in the area within seconds. WALK ROUTES Route, distance, duration and pace via GPS, with live location for the people you choose to share it with. Your routes stay private. GUIDE Map and directory of dog-friendly places and dog businesses nearby: destinations and trails, restaurants and cafés, vets, dog schools, groomers and clinics with round-the-clock emergency service. Businesses present themselves with their own profile, and every place carries a paw rating from dog people. EVENTS Dog meetups, puppy meetups, training and relaxed group walks in your region: accept, see the exact meeting point, coordinate in the event chat – or invite others yourself. DOGSYGRAM The community feed: photos and short videos from the dog world. Like a post? Give it a dog paw and leave a comment. DOG RECORD AND EMERGENCY NETWORK Vaccination record, chip number, allergies, vet contact and documents in one place, with reminders for vaccinations, deworming and appointments. From it you create a read-only dog passport that you share, for a limited time, with a sitter, boarding kennel or vet. If anything happens to you, your emergency contacts see your dog's care sheet with feeding, medication and vet – right away. PACK, FAMILY AND MESSAGES Connect with dog friends nearby and message them one to one or as a group; with the family profile, several people share ONE dog profile. The messenger with voice and video calls is private: no other Dogsyaner sees your chats, not even the DOGSY team – and they are never analysed for advertising. ALSO INSIDE Dog knowledge in plain language, plus animal shelters and animal welfare under “Good deeds”. FREE – NO SUBSCRIPTION, NO COMMISSION With many apps, free means: free until the first message, then comes the subscription. Not with DOGSY: everything stays free for everyone, with no subscription and no restrictions. DOGSY is financed through discreet, topic-related advertising without analysing personal data. DOGSY connects people; checking each other is the Dogsyaner's own responsibility. Liability or dog-owner liability insurance is recommended. dogsy.ch
