The VANTIQ app provides efficient mobile collaborations between people and automation systems through the delivery of notifications to mobile devices. Each notification presents the mobile user with a situation that requires their input or, at least, awareness. No longer does the user have to actively monitor the automation system; critical notifications are delivered in real time as they are detected. Each notification presents a customized page that allows the user to quickly assess the current situation and respond with their decision. Once the response has been formed the app is dismissed and the user is free to return to other activities, allowing optimal utilization of their time. Advanced automation systems are at their best when effectively integrated with the people that provide the “human intelligence” that optimizes the performance of the automation system. The VANTIQ app seamlessly integrates people with the Advanced Automation capabilities of VANTIQ.
ScanLink
Read full descriptionHide full description
ScanLink allows a store associate to assign a product to a display and when required, check the display image and to unassign or replace the ESL. It also allows the store associate to refresh the image, step through the pages held in the ESL and perform other routine ESL management tasks. This is done with a mobile phone, or with specialised hardware such as Zebra TC52 or Linea Pro 7. In simple terms, ScanLink works with Displaydata’s Dynamic Solution software via the in store WiFi to manage the product information that is shown on the associated displays. It does this using the barcode attached to the ESL and that of the product.
