About

Macro Dinner Planner

Plan dinners against your macro goals — without a sign-up, without a tracker, without sending your meals to anyone. Macro Dinner Planner estimates calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fat for any dinner you type, paste, or barcode-scan. Set daily or weekly macro targets, save dinners, and watch your remaining macros for the day update as you go. WHAT IT DOES • Type or paste a recipe (or any URL): the app parses the ingredient list and estimates per-ingredient and total macros. • Scan a packaged food barcode: nutrition info is pulled from the public Open Food Facts database and added to the current dinner. • Set goals at any scope — per meal, per day, or per week — and the Diary tab rolls saved dinners up against today's and this week's targets. • Save dinners for re-use; review the macros that contributed to a day or week with one tap. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • No sign-up. No advertising. No daily reminders. Anonymous usage stats only (toggle off in Settings → Privacy). • Recipes, dinners, and goals are stored locally on your device. Anonymous product-interaction, crash, and performance events go to PostHog (no name, email, recipe text, or device identifier; not linked to you, not used to track). Barcode scans go to the public Open Food Facts lookup. WHO IT'S FOR • Anyone tired of food trackers that demand an email, surveil their meals, pile on reminders, and gate basic features behind recurring fees. • Home cooks who want to know what dinner is going to do to their macros before they cook it. • Brokers, parents, lifters, busy people — anyone who eats dinner and is curious about the math. DISCLAIMER Macro values are estimates. This app is a planning aid, not medical or dietary advice. Consult a qualified professional for medical nutrition decisions. MACRO PRO (OPTIONAL SUBSCRIPTION) • Unlimited saved dinners (free: 3) and a grocery list built from your saved dinners. Barcode scan and USDA search stay free. • Macro Pro Yearly ($19.99/year) and Monthly ($2.99/month) start with a 7-day free trial. Macro Pro Lifetime ($24.99) is a one-time purchase. • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID account settings.
