Watch on youtube: https://youtu.be/DzldbcPzRC8 No more keeping notes on paper! Video Notebook gives you the chance to annotate and share your videos of interest! With VideoNotebook you change the way that you watch your favourite videos on youtube. When the app launches, you are prompted to search for a video or channel. From the search list you can choose to watch a video or put it on your watch later list. As you watch your video you have the opportunity to tap a button and annotate the video at a specific time stamp. All annotations are stored locally on your phone or iPad and you have the option to share them among all your devices using iCloud. In this way you are able to keep your video notes, replay videos at specific time stamps, edit them if you wish to change the time stamp or the annotation, email the video with the specific comment that will be reproduced at the specific time stamp and, of course, share the video on social media in the above-mentioned way. The big plus of the app is that you can search your video list by comments that you have made and not by video title. So you save yourself a lot of time when you try to find a specific part of a previously watched video.
RTSP Camera
Read full descriptionHide full description
RTSP Camera turns your iPhone into a standalone RTSP server. With no cloud and no account, it streams camera video (H.264) and microphone audio (AAC) to clients on the same local network in real time. HOW IT WORKS - Tap "Start" and the app shows an address like rtsp://[phone-ip]:8554/live. - Open that address in VLC, ffplay, an NVR, or any RTSP client on the same Wi-Fi. - No player? Open http://[phone-ip]:8080 in a web browser on the same Wi-Fi. Choose a near real-time fast view (no sound) or a view with sound (about 6–10 seconds behind). - Video goes straight from the device to the viewer — it never passes through our servers. FEATURES - Live camera preview and streaming controls (preview starts as soon as you open the app) - Web browser viewing — watch in Safari or Chrome with no app to install (fast view or view with sound) - Connection guide — address QR code, copy and share, per-player steps, and live connection diagnostics - Video quality — 540p, 720p, or 1080p (when supported by the device and camera) - 7 video filters — Original, Mono, Noir, Sepia, Low light, Radiant, Vivid - Front and back camera switching - Viewer count, viewer trend chart, and elapsed time - Lockable portrait/landscape streaming orientation - One-tap address copy - Optional Digest authentication for both RTSP and browser viewing (credentials stored in the device Keychain) - Optional cellular streaming: push to your own RTMP relay (bring-your-own) BEFORE YOU START - A separate client on the same network (a player such as VLC, or a web browser) is required to view the stream. - The browser fast view has no sound. The view with sound runs about 6–10 seconds behind and needs an internet connection in browsers other than Safari. For sound without delay, use VLC or another RTSP player. - Streaming runs only while the app is in the foreground (iOS does not allow background camera capture). - Authentication is off by default; enable it on untrusted networks. - Cellular streaming requires a relay server that you set up and operate. - The app shows an ad on launch (non-personalized). PRIVACY This app shows ads; Google AdMob may collect data to serve them (non-personalized only, no tracking). Otherwise audio/video is sent only to the destination you specify and is not collected by the developer. Privacy policy: https://legal.therene.co.kr/rtsp-camera/

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RTSP Camera at none against VideoNotebook's 1. RTSP Camera also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). VideoNotebook's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 18.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
