Both are free to download. #Phone sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Phone+Text asks for nothing beyond the download.
#Phone holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: #Phone has 186 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Phone+Text's written reviews are positive against 0% of #Phone's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Phone+Text ships an update every 5 weeks, #Phone every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
