Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Marten Driver at 4.4 against Transflo HOS's 2.4. Marten Driver also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription) and ratings volume (807 vs 27). Transflo HOS's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 7 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
