Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is monetization model: Stream at free with in-app purchases against Fiery Feeds's subscription. Stream also leads on review sentiment (86% vs 73%). Fiery Feeds's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (467 vs 21). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fiery Feeds sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Stream sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Fiery Feeds against 4.6 for Stream.
