The call

The clearest difference is rating: YuLife at 4.4 against One Million Steps's 4.0. YuLife also leads on ratings volume (29 vs 1). One Million Steps's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

YuLife holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YuLife has 29 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of One Million Steps's written reviews are positive against 72% of YuLife's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

One Million Steps ships an update fortnightly, YuLife weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
