Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: One Million Steps at 75% against Beemove's 34%. One Million Steps also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12) and ads (none vs shown). Beemove's advantage is ratings volume (101 vs 1) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Beemove sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. One Million Steps asks for nothing beyond the download.
Beemove holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Beemove has 101 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of One Million Steps's written reviews are positive against 34% of Beemove's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
