Chemancy
Read full descriptionHide full description
Deep in the rock, under fog and runes, lies the order of the elements. It is waiting for someone to wake it. Chemancy turns chemistry into an adventure. Four games, one rock, not a single worksheet. You set elements until the periodic table grows out of the cave wall. You push atoms together until they become water, ammonia, sulfuric acid. You bring a balance to rest with an equation lying on it. And in the lab you mix whatever you like, just to see what happens. You learned it anyway. That is the trick. WAKE THE PERIODIC TABLE Every element to its place, one after another. What you set is struck into the rock and stays there. Play a perfect round and the rock breaks open โ behind it lies a cave only the best will ever see. BUILD MOLECULES Push the atoms until they find each other. 168 compounds are waiting to be discovered, and each one tells you what it is, where it occurs and why the world needs it. MASTER THE REACTIONS An equation rests on a glowing balance beam, and the beam tips towards the heavier side. Find the right numbers and it hangs level โ then it burns through. 112 equations, from the hydrogen pop test to titration. ENTER THE LAB No task, no rules, no end. Pull atoms out of the periodic table into the pit, add a spark, some heat or light, and watch what forms. Then let water in โ from there it is a different chemistry. Acids break into their ions, alkali metals react with it, salts dissolve. Boil the water away and they crystallise again. 178 reactions are waiting to be found, and not one of them is set as a task anywhere. When you get stuck, the shelf shows the way: for every substance it tells you how it really forms in your lab โ not the textbook synthesis, but the one that works here. PROOF OF YOUR MASTERY Place all 118 elements correctly and the system wakes one last time: lightning strikes, light runs along every path until the whole rock glows. Then you receive a certificate โ an image to share, carrying a code that proves it is real. Anyone who shows it has earned it. And the colour stays: teal, violet or gold, depending on the difficulty, kept in the fog around the menu stone. KNOWLEDGE THAT HOLDS Behind the game sits a learning area that fears no exam. For all 118 elements the values that actually get asked, plus twelve colour views of the whole table. And profiles for all 168 compounds, open from the start. Exam, degree or pure curiosity โ it sticks here, because it was fun. FAIR AND TIDY โข Completely offline โข No data collection, no tracking, no accounts โข Free, with no ads โข 14 languages, on iPhone, iPad and Mac The rock is waiting. Start with one element. Elements

Elements turns the periodic table into short quiz rounds you can finish in a couple of minutes โ on the bus, between classes, or the night before an exam. Ten questions per round. Every answer is shown immediately, and anything you miss goes to your review list so you drill the elements you actually get wrong instead of the ones you already know. FOUR WAYS TO PRACTISE - Symbol to name: see Fe, pick Iron - Name to symbol: see Iron, pick Fe - Atomic number: which element is number 26? - Element groups: metal, halogen or noble gas? THREE DIFFICULTY RANGES Start with the first 20 elements, move up to 36, then take on all 118. THE WHOLE TABLE Tap any element to see its atomic number, period, group and category. Categories are colour coded, so the shape of the table makes sense at a glance. WORKS ANYWHERE No account, no sign-up, no internet. The app makes no network requests at all, so it works in airplane mode and in an exam room. Your best score and your missed elements stay on your device โ the App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected" because nothing is collected. FREE AND PAID The free version covers the first 20 elements in symbol-to-name mode, plus the full table and mistake review. One payment unlocks all 118 elements and all four quiz modes. No subscription, ever. Built for students, teachers and anyone who wants the table in their head rather than on a poster.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Chemancy at none against Elements's 1. Elements's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
