Your phone was built to eat your focus. Focus Dog feeds it back. Feed your focus. Starve distractions. Start a focus session and your donut machine starts producing donuts. Stay in the app, the machine keeps running. Open Instagram "for a second"? The machine stops. Your dog — his name is Focus — is hungry and counting on you. That's the whole loop. It works because it's stupid simple and because you care about the dog. If you open your phone to check one thing and look up 40 minutes later, you're not broken. Your apps were designed to do that to you. Focus Dog gives you a reason to put the phone down: a cute dog who eats what you earn, levels up when you show up, and gets sad when you ghost him. STAY FOCUSED • Pomodoro-style focus sessions that produce rewards as you work • Hourly challenges for a dopamine hit when you hit your time goals • Your session timer stays visible on the Lock Screen — iOS Live Activities, Android live notifications • Siri Shortcuts to start sessions hands-free (5 to 120 minutes) • Open-ended mode when you just want to lock in and go GET MOTIVATED • Collect over 120 donut recipes across normal, rare, and epic tiers • Level up donuts, unlock new dog skins, machines, and backgrounds • Seasonal events with exclusive donuts (Halloween, Christmas, New Year, Valentine's, Easter) • Climb weekly leagues against people at your level, from Bronze to Legend • Compete with friends and climb the global Top 100 leaderboard • Gift your gems — we turn them into real meals for real shelter dogs TRACK YOUR FOCUS • Tag sessions (Work, Study, Deep Work — whatever fits your life) and see the breakdown • Calendar heatmap, weekly/monthly/yearly stats, streak tracking • Per-tag time distribution so you know where your focus actually goes • CSV export of your focus time for your own analysis (Pro) BUILT FOR • Students fighting homework procrastination • ADHD brains that need external scaffolding, not willpower • Remote workers drowning in tab-switching • Anyone who's tired of their weekly screen time report FOCUS DOG PRO Install Focus Dog for free and use its core features as long as you want. You can't concentrate just by setting the timer normally. I'm used to it. I want more gameplay. It is an application that can be recommended for those who have such troubles. With this app, the time to concentrate on work is randomly determined, and if you can concentrate, you will be rewarded, and if you cannot concentrate, the punishment game will be randomly determined, so you will be thrilled and thrilled. --App functions --- 1. Select a randomly selected range of concentration time. (Example: 10 to 30 minutes) 2. Reward settings. (Example: "Watch a movie", "Read a manga", "Play a game for an hour", etc. It is possible not to set a reward.) 3. Punishment game settings. (Example: "Push-ups 20 times", "Smartphone 2 hours prohibited", "Today's sweets prohibited", etc. It is possible not to set a punishment game.) 4. Notify you of the end of the timer. 5. The timer continues even if the app is closed. --- Students who are about to take the exam. Working people who want to concentrate on their work. I hope I can help everyone who is studying hard to improve my skills.

RandomTimer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Dog has 910 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Focus Dog's written reviews are positive against 0% of RandomTimer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Focus Dog ships an update fortnightly, RandomTimer every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
