This mobile application is available for smartphones equipped with NFC technology. It allows the consumers to authenticate a bottle by approaching their phone close to the security label. After the WID database has been consulted, the consumer receives a message to validate or invalidate the bottle’s certificate. The user can access a set of information selected by the producer about the provenance, history, know-how and grape varieties along with tasting and advice on how to let the wine mature.
Fetch Courier

Fetch sends a verified runner to collect something at one Paris address and deliver it to another. Two addresses, one fixed price shown before you send, and full tracking from pickup to handover. ONE FIXED PRICE, SHOWN FIRST The price is calculated on the real route between your two addresses, from the published price list: base fare, distance, any waiting time, a heavy item surcharge and a service fee. You see the whole figure before you send the mission. On sending, a hold is placed on your card; the charge only happens at delivery. If the mission does not happen, nothing is taken. A VERIFIED RUNNER, TRACKED LIVE Every runner is approved individually before their first mission. You follow their position on the map while the mission runs, you message them in the app, and handover happens against a code only you know. A photo at pickup and a photo at delivery stay attached to the mission. PURCHASE & FETCH The item does not exist at your place yet. You give the list, the runner buys it, keeps the receipt and brings everything to your door. If something is out of stock, they propose a substitution you accept or decline straight from the notification. FETCH ASSIST For when it is not a parcel but an errand with steps. You describe the mission: collect a file from a counter with your authorisation, stand in the queue, deal with a carrier, then ship it. We handle the steps. The fee is agreed up front from what the mission involves, and you set the limit on what we may spend on your behalf. Whatever is not spent is refunded to you, against receipts. BUILT FOR IPHONE The live mission sits in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen, a widget keeps it in view, and Siri can send a runner or track the mission. The app can lock behind Face ID. RUNNER MODE, IN THE SAME APP One account, two sides. Approved runners switch to runner mode from their account: offered missions, routes, and earnings detailed mission by mission. TRUST, IN CONCRETE TERMS Every runner is checked before their first mission: identity document, proof of registration as a self-employed trader, insurance. A person reviews every file. Customers are asked for none of that: an email address, a name and a phone number, and you can book. Service data is hosted in Paris and does not leave the European Union. No trackers, no advertising, no data resale. Fetch operates in Paris. The service runs in French and English.

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Fetch Courier at every 3 days against WID's every 4 months. WID's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
