Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: LEDGlow Automotive Control at 4.2 against TRIGGER ACS's 2.8. LEDGlow Automotive Control also leads on ratings volume (743 vs 15) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). TRIGGER ACS's advantage is review sentiment (30% vs 15%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

LEDGlow Automotive Control holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LEDGlow Automotive Control has 743 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of TRIGGER ACS's written reviews are positive against 15% of LEDGlow Automotive Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

TRIGGER ACS ships an update every 2 months, LEDGlow Automotive Control every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
