OVERVIEW FileFlex Enterprise is a free client to allow FileFlex Enterprise users the ability to remotely connect to any or all of their organization's storage from their mobile device. It is different from public clouds, private clouds and Enterprise File Sync and Share services through its proprietary file access virtualization technology. FileFlex Enterprise uses its file access virtualization technology to allow an organization's users to remotely access corporate files stored anywhere on the corporate storage infrastructure from their smart phones, tablets or remote PCs. The location of the file can be on a server, SAN, DAS, NAS, PC or cloud. With FileFlex Enterprise, organizations don’t need to build a private cloud or copy anything to a third party EFSS or public cloud provider. They add FileFlex Enterprise as a software-only solution to their own existing storage instead. All of an organization's data stays on-premise, behind the firewall and under IT control to ensure data residency and protect client confidential information. FEATURES Remote Access  The FileFlex Enterprise mobile client provides users of FileFlex Enterprise remote access to corporate files and folders from their source locations anywhere on the corporate infrastructure. File Sharing  The FileFlex Enterprise mobile client allows users of FileFlex Enterprise to remotely share files from their source locations without having to sync, move or upload them to the cloud. It does not use links that can be forwarded or copied to social media. Instead it is permission-based to prevent unauthorized access. There are no storage limitations, no file size limits, no quality degradation (no compression) and no complicated IT type setup requirements for the sharing of files. Media Streaming  The FileFlex Enterprise mobile client allows the streaming of media files from their source locations to the user or to any contact. This allows the consumption and sharing of massive collections of digital media. Media streams right from where it is stored. Users don’t need to upload to the cloud or EFSS and recipients don’t need to download - they stream the organization's own storage. Remote Multi-Location File Management  The FileFlex Enterprise client is arguably the world’s best file manager app because it provides remote file management between multiple devices. The traditional file manager include an ability to create folders, as well as cut, copy, paste, move and upload and delete files. But that is where a traditional file manager ends. It works for devices that a user is connected to, but not when they are remote. FileFlex enables users to use any internet connected smart phone, tablet or secondary computer to remotely cut, paste, copy, delete, rename, move and organize any document no matter where it is stored. Users can even cut, copy and paste files between various storage devices remotely. They don’t have to be at the office to organize their files, they can keep things organized from anywhere. Remote Network Access  FileFlex Enterprise turns networked devices into a powerful gateway into all storage. For example, with FileFlex Enterprise on a corporate server, users can use that server to access, share, stream and perform remote multi-device file management functions to any and all permitted storage on the server and all permitted storage on the server’s network.
