Every subscription, ID, registration, insurance policy, warranty, and membership has a date attached. So does the oil change and the furnace filter. Miss one and it costs you. A surprise charge for something you meant to cancel. A lapsed registration. A passport that expired right before the trip. NeverLapse keeps all of it in one list, sorted by what is coming up next, so nothing slips by. Add anything with a renewal or expiry date. NeverLapse shows you how many days are left at a glance and reminds you 30, 7, and 1 day before, so you have time to act. Reminders lead with the item and the stakes, and they show the dollar amount, because the money is the point. Anything that repeats rolls itself forward to the next cycle, so there is nothing to tick off. One-off dates, like a new license, ask you for the new date when you renew them. Canceled something? Mark it canceled and the reminders stop, but the record stays, in case you resubscribe. What you can track: • Subscriptions and streaming • Driver's licenses, passports, and other IDs • Vehicle registration, smog checks, and inspections • Car maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, air filters, wiper blades • Around the house: HVAC filters, smoke alarm batteries, water heater flush, gutters, dryer vents, chimney sweep, fire extinguisher checks • Insurance policies • Warranties • Memberships • Software and domain name Not sure where to start? Tap through the common ones by category and add what you have, with typical dates already filled in. Snap a photo of anything worth keeping: the front and back of your license, the insurance card, the registration, the warranty receipt. It sits with the date it expires, so it is there when you need it. Photos are free and unlimited. Your data stays on your device. There is no account to create and no server holding your information. Turn on iCloud sync with Pro to keep everything current across your devices. With Pro you can also send an item to your calendar. NeverLapse asks only for permission to add events, never to read the ones you already have, and the system add-event screen lets you see it and pick which calendar it goes to. NeverLapse Pro unlocks unlimited items, a full spending breakdown by category, calendar export, iCloud sync across your devices, and removes ads. Subscribe monthly or yearly, or pay once and own it for good. Your call. Subscription and pricing NeverLapse is free to use, tracking up to 10 items. NeverLapse Pro unlocks everything and comes three ways: • NeverLapse Pro Monthly: a monthly subscription, after a 3 day free trial • NeverLapse Pro Yearly: a yearly subscription, after a 1 week free trial • NeverLapse Pro Lifetime: a one-time purchase that never renews Exact pricing is shown in the app and on this page before you buy, in your own currency. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A monthly or yearly subscription renews automatically at the price shown unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew in your Apple Account settings after purchase. If you start a free trial and then buy Pro before the trial ends, any unused part of the trial is forfeited. The Lifetime option is a one-time purchase and never renews. Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is monetization model: NeverLapse at free with in-app purchases against List Maker ◎'s subscription. List Maker ◎'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (8K vs 1). On price, rating and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. List Maker ◎ sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and NeverLapse sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

NeverLapse holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: List Maker ◎ has 8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
