Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: MATCH Pub at none against Pizzaville's shown. MATCH Pub also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 weeks). Pizzaville's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
MATCH Pub holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pizzaville has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Pizzaville ships an update every 6 weeks, MATCH Pub every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
