STR Ledger is the bookkeeping app built for hands-on short-term rental hosts — including hosts on Airbnb and VRBO — who want clean records and a documented case for the IRS 100-hour material-participation test. TWO TOOLS IN ONE Most host apps track income OR time. STR Ledger does both, so your numbers and your active hours live in one place at tax time. TRACK EVERY BOOKING - Log each reservation's gross income, platform fees, cleaning, and other costs - See net income per booking and across the year - Works across multiple properties CLOCK YOUR 100 HOURS - Built-in stopwatch logs your active management time as you clean, fix, message guests, and restock - A running tally shows your progress toward the 100-hour mark - Add time manually whenever you forget to hit start TAX TIME, SORTED - See your year summarized by Schedule E line - Export a clean CSV or PDF report — with your active-hours tally — for your tax preparer STR LEDGER PRO - Track unlimited properties - Full Schedule E line-by-line breakdown - CSV + PDF tax report export - Removes ads PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything stays on your device. STR Ledger never connects to a booking platform or a bank. Free users can preview Pro by watching a short ad. STR Ledger shows non-personalized ads only and never tracks you. IMPORTANT: STR Ledger is a bookkeeping and time-logging tool, not tax advice, and is not affiliated with Airbnb, VRBO, or the IRS. The material-participation rules (including the 100-hour test) are complex and fact-specific — confirm your eligibility and Schedule E treatment with a qualified tax professional.
