Deep in your work and forgotten to take a break? FocusModes pairs focus timers with gentle reminders to look away, stretch, or change position. Build a work rhythm that makes room for breaks. FIND YOUR FOCUS RHYTHM Choose Pomodoro, Flow, Deep Work, Intensive, or Open-Ended focus. Create your own repeating routine or a sequence of focus and break blocks. Start with a 25-minute focus block and adjust your routine as you go. MAKE BREAKS PART OF YOUR DAY Choose eye and movement reminders, adjust their timing, or keep them for breaks. Reminder setup is optional, and no special equipment is needed. Sit/stand and walking-pad prompts are available for the setups that use them. Walking-pad prompts need a break of at least 20 minutes; in Open-Ended mode, start a break to receive breaks-only reminders. SEE THE TIME YOU PUT IN Review your session history and weekly focus totals, or add the home-screen stats widget. Optional local notifications and Live Activities help you follow your timer. Your history stays on your device. TRY EVERY FEATURE FOR SEVEN DAYS Start the free 7-day Trial through the App Store. All features are available for seven elapsed days from the original trial transaction. The one-time unlock price is shown in the app before you start the trial. There is no subscription, automatic charge, or cancellation requirement. After the trial, a separate one-time purchase is required to start new focus blocks and create or edit custom routines. A focus block or break already in progress can finish. Your saved history remains available. Restore Purchases is available in Settings and on the access screen. Restoring does not restart the trial. Existing users of the free version keep full access. No FocusModes account is required. No advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking SDKs. Apple processes purchases using your Apple Account. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: FocusModes at none against Pomodoro's shown. Pomodoro's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.4). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
