Turn every Pomodoro into a road trip. LongRoad is a focus timer that drives you down Route 66. Start a 25- or 50-minute focus session and your 1950s car rolls down the next stretch of America's most famous highway, from Chicago to Santa Monica: 2,448 miles and 93 towns. Finish the session and you arrive in a new town with a vintage postcard to keep. Then take a short break at a roadside diner, motel or gas station before the next leg. WHY IT WORKS • The classic Pomodoro rhythm: focus, then a short built-in break • A goal that keeps you coming back: every session moves you further down the road • A calm, beautiful pixel-art world seen from the driver's seat FOCUS TIMER • 25- or 50-minute focus legs with built-in breaks • Live Activity and Lock Screen timer, plus widgets • Gentle reminders when a leg or a break ends • Pause anytime: the car pulls over and waits for you THE ROAD • Drive all of Route 66: 93 towns, 2,448 miles, Illinois to California • Collect a "Greetings from…" postcard in every town • Watch your passport and route map fill up as you study • Dawn, midday, sunset or night, rain or shine: pick your sky, or let the road decide SOUND FOR DEEP WORK • Built-in lofi radio stations • Mix the music, engine, road and rain to your taste • Music only, road only, or silence No account. No ads. Just you and the open road. LONG ROAD PASS Your first focus session (one leg, 25 or 50 minutes) is free, with everything switched on: the radio, the sky, the passport and the Live Activity. After that, starting new focus sessions requires a Long Road Pass subscription. Plans and prices are shown in the app before you buy, and you can see them any time in the Glove Box (Settings). The yearly plan includes a free trial for eligible new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase or when the free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: LongRoad at none against Pomodoro's shown. LongRoad also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly). Pomodoro's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
