Verdict
BAS and AmneziaVPN both sit at 3.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 44% of AmneziaVPN's written reviews are positive against 8% of BAS's. AmneziaVPN also leads on ratings volume (759 vs 8). BAS's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.
