Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Eventive Box Office at free against IMDbPro's subscription. Eventive Box Office also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). IMDbPro's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (20% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
