Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Unbroken Homes at 5.0 against Truece's 3.2. Unbroken Homes also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Truece's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 20 months) and ratings volume (43 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Unbroken Homes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Truece has 43 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Unbroken Homes's written reviews are positive against 39% of Truece's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Unbroken Homes ships an update every 20 months, Truece every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
