FormFactor is a privacy-first AI form coach that helps you lift safer in real time. Using on-device computer vision, it analyzes your squat form, speaks corrections as you move, and generates a personalized coaching report after each session — all completely offline with zero data leaving your device. REAL-TIME FORM COACHING Point your camera and start squatting. FormFactor detects your body pose, tracks joint angles, identifies movement phases, and scores every rep. Hear spoken corrections the moment your form drifts — no need to watch the screen. Haptic feedback reinforces cues so you stay focused on the lift. AI-POWERED COACHING REPORTS After each session, an on-device AI model generates a structured coaching report with your overall rating, top strength, primary correction, and detailed per-body-area feedback. Every insight is produced locally using Apple's Foundation Models — nothing is sent to a server. 3D INTERACTIVE ANATOMY VIEWER Explore a fully interactive 3D human anatomy model built with RealityKit. Tap injury zones to learn about warning signs, prevention tips, and exercises to avoid. A complete list-based alternative ensures every detail is accessible to VoiceOver users. GYM WORKOUT TRACKING Log your workouts with a full exercise library spanning push, pull, legs, core, running, and mobility. Track weight and reps for strength exercises, or duration and distance for running — with automatic pace calculation and km/miles conversion. View progress charts, personal bests, and previous session comparisons. DIET AND NUTRITION Scan food with your camera for on-device classification and weight estimation. Log meals with full macro breakdowns — calories, protein, fat, carbs, fiber, and sugar. Track daily nutrition against your goals. EDUCATION LIBRARY Browse evidence-based articles covering core strengthening, leg exercises, mobility work, running technique, and more. Each article includes structured sections, contextual warnings, and cited sources. DESIGNED FOR EVERYONE FormFactor is built accessibility-first. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Form Factor at none against Somewhere's 5. Form Factor also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Somewhere's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). On price there is nothing between them.
