Rawdaty: learn the Arabic alphabet through play — Arabic letters for kids ages 3 to 8 Rawdaty (روضتي, "my kindergarten") teaches children all 28 letters of the Arabic alphabet: how each letter looks and sounds, how to write it, and how to start reading, through guided letter tracing, letter stories and 12 learning games. The app is fully in Arabic with real recorded voices, works offline, and has no ads inside the child's activities. LEARN ARABIC LETTERS WITH REAL VOICES Your child discovers every letter from alif to yaa with its correct sound, plus a word, a picture, and an animal with its sound for each letter. TRACE AND WRITE ARABIC LETTERS A step-by-step writing journey: pre-writing warm-up, guided tracing, freehand writing and, for most letters, a maze game. Each stage is a little harder than the last. WRITE YOUR NAME Your child watches their name being written in Arabic, then practices writing it (Premium). LETTER STORIES Short stories for the first letters, each followed by five practice activities that make the letter's shape and sound stick. 12 LEARNING GAMES Color by number, kids' sudoku, coloring, counting, left and right, memory match, odd one out, find the shadow, what comes next, match the colors, sort by size, and cut and paste. Preschool games that build focus, memory and observation. MY LETTERS Games that reinforce each letter: the balloon game, the fishing game and the missing-letter game. REWARDS THAT MOTIVATE Stars for every achievement, characters to collect with stars, and a certificate when all 28 letters are complete. PRINTABLE WORKSHEETS Letter and name tracing sheets to print at home (Premium). PARENT AREA Follow your child's progress in letters and writing, replay what they wrote, and share a weekly summary. SCHOOL MODE Teacher and parent accounts, classes and digital homework that works offline, for kindergartens, nurseries and Arabic teachers. SAFE FOR KIDS No ads inside the child's activities. Works without an internet connection. Purchases and settings sit behind a parental gate. WHO IS RAWDATY FOR? - Kids ages 3–8 in preschool, kindergarten (KG1, KG2) and first grade. - Parents looking for a fun Arabic alphabet app for kids. - Arab families abroad, bilingual homes and heritage learners. - Homeschooling families, nurseries and Arabic teachers. Tachysophe

Reading aloud is one of the dearest gifts we pass on. Tachysophe helps a child grow into it. Tachysophe is a kind, simple stopwatch for reading practice—whether for kids learning to read or for practicing a foreign language. It times the page, paces the session, and can count words per minute entirely on your device. Reading aloud is one of the dearest gifts we pass on, and my son and I made Tachysophe to help a child grow into it: open the book, tap to start, and read. It times the page like a stopwatch, paces the session with timers you set, and (if you like) counts words per minute, so you can follow a young reader's fluency as it grows from week to week. That's the ·sophe family's idea here: adding a little wisdom (sophía) to the way we prepare to enjoy reading, the dearest treasure our civilisation hands down. The same app runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, with widgets to start a session and see the last result. Word counting is optional (Tachysophe is a full timer and stopwatch without it) and reads in many languages: for every language with an on-device model (the vast majority), audio and recognised text never leave your device. A wider panel of languages (Hebrew, for example) is now available through Apple's online speech service: strictly opt-in, off by default, with results at the end of the session. No account, no ads, no tracking, just time and words. A single purchase: no subscriptions, no in-app purchases.
