DATS is a combination of a web application that is accessed through an internet connection and browser (DATS Web), and a smartphone/tablet app that runs independently of an internet connection (DATS Mobile). Together, they help you and your people do all the heavy lifting! Some important DATS Mobile features include: Notifications & Quick Checks – DATS Mobile allows you to opt-in to push notifications when important things happen in DATS that directly pertain to your account, and your responsibilities. Mobile Training Wallet – Your DATS Mobile account holds all of your training records so they can quickly be referenced should you ever need to produce them for a company representative, customer, or auditor. Training Verification – Use DATS Mobile to scan employee QR codes (possibly on hardhats or ID cards) to confirm their training and subsequent site and/or equipment access or permissions. Reference Materials – Even in the middle of nowhere you can reference important documentation like operators’ manuals or troubleshooting guides. To find documents you can either search the directory, or scan a QR code. Conduct Inspections – Initiate equipment or worksite inspections even when offline.
