Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: FLiiP app at 5.0 against LIFT session's 3.3. FLiiP app also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). LIFT session's advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.6 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
FLiiP app holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LIFT session has 18 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of LIFT session's written reviews are positive against 37% of FLiiP app's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
LIFT session ships an update monthly, FLiiP app every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
