The clearest difference is rating: Scoir at 4.8 against SMP eReader's 1.4. Scoir also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (6.2K vs 53). SMP eReader's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
