Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: eMissal at 5.0 against Catholic Confession's 4.0. eMissal also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). Catholic Confession's advantage is ratings volume (112 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
