PLEASE NOTE! While Mightier is free to download, a Mightier Membership is required. Find out more at Mightier.com Mightier helps children (ages 6 - 12) who struggle with their emotions. This includes kids who have a tough time with tantrums, feelings of frustration, anxiety, or even a diagnosis like ADHD. Our program was developed by clinicians from Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School and is designed to create a fun and engaging way for kids to practice emotional regulation through play….and become Mightier! Players wear a heart rate monitor while they play, which allows them to see their emotions and connect with them directly. As they play, your child reacts to their heart rate. As their heart rates go up, the game gets harder to play and they practice how to bring their heart rate down (take a pause) in order to earn rewards in the games. Over time and with routine practice/play, this creates “Mightier moments” where your child breathes, pauses, or uses one of their practiced cool down strategies automatically when facing real world challenges. Mightier includes: A WORLD OF GAMES Over 25 games on the platform and 6 worlds to conquer, so your child will never get bored! THE GIZMO Your child’s visual representation of their heart rate. This will allow them to see their emotions and connect with them directly. Gizmo will also teach your child emotional management skills when they find themselves in extreme duress. LAVALINGS Collectable creatures that represent big emotions. These will help your child connect with their range of emotions in a fun, new way. PLUS…..for Parents ● An online hub to access a dashboard of your child’s progress ● Customer support from licensed clinicians ● Tools and resources to help navigate your Mightier parenting journey.

Feely was created by parents, for families. Like many parents, we noticed that it can be difficult to talk with children about their day and their feelings — especially when they are still very young. Traditional emotion diaries often rely on writing, which isn’t always suitable. Feely was developed as a simple, playful way to support emotional conversations within the family. With Feely, parents can help their child reflect on feelings and experiences together. Emotions are visualized using friendly characters, and voice recordings allow experiences to be shared in a natural way. This makes it easier for families to talk about emotions and helps parents gain meaningful insights into their child’s emotional world. Feely is designed for shared use within the family, with parental involvement. WHAT FAMILIES CAN SUPPORT WITH FEELY • Recognizing and naming emotions • Becoming more aware of feelings • Reflecting on emotions together • Processing daily experiences • Encouraging mindfulness and self-reflection • Supporting empathy and emotional understanding • Fostering emotional intelligence FEELY FEATURES • Record feelings and experiences as audio entries • Save meaningful recordings to favorites • Share recordings within the family • Intuitive, family-friendly design • Follow emotional development over time • Clear overview of emotions for discussion and reflection • Create individual profiles for multiple children • Safe and protected environment • No advertisements Feely can be downloaded and tested for free. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Mightier at none against Feely's 5. Mightier also leads on ratings volume (267 vs 23) and device support (3 vs 1). Feely's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). On price, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Feely sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Mightier asks for nothing beyond the download.
Feely holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mightier has 267 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Mightier's written reviews are positive against 50% of Feely's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Mightier ships an update every 2 months, Feely every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
