Translate any app in real time, right where the text is. Food delivery, shopping, games, apps from abroad: when an app doesn't speak your language, Loupe does. Start Loupe, switch to any app, and read the translation in a window that keeps the original layout. On iPhone and iPad. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick the languages you often read and download their language packs once. Loupe detects the language on screen automatically. 2. Tap Start Loupe, choose "Loupe" in the system Screen Sharing panel, then tap Start Sharing. 3. Switch to any app. A Picture in Picture window shows that part of the screen, translated in place. FOUR READING SCOPES • Near the window: reads the area right next to the floating window. Great for one card, post or paragraph at a time. • Whole screen: translates the entire screen into a tall window. Enlarge it to read everything. • Fixed area: mark a region before you start, like a game's dialogue box or a chat panel, and keep the window outside it. • LAN Live: watch the whole translated screen in the browser of another device on the same Wi-Fi, like a laptop or tablet. Nothing covers the screen you're using. SUBTITLE MODE (LOUPE PRO) Instead of placing translations back in the page, the window can show them in a dark panel with larger type, and the original above each line if you like. With Fixed area, new lines appear at the bottom like subtitles; other scopes list the text in reading order. ON IPAD • Turn on Windowed Apps or Stage Manager and the Loupe window itself becomes the lens: put it beside the app you're reading, and the translation appears right inside it. • When that app goes full screen, Loupe follows as a Picture in Picture window. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Text recognition and translation happen entirely on your device, using Apple's on-device translation. • Your screen is never sent to us, and never saved as screenshots or recordings. • LAN Live, only when you choose it, sends the translation just to devices on your local network that open your link. It doesn't pass through our servers. • No account, no ads, no tracking. • Works offline once the language packs are downloaded. MADE FOR REAL LIFE • Order food or book a ride in an app that only speaks the local language. • Shop from overseas stores and understand product details and reviews. • Play games and read manga or social posts that were never localized. LANGUAGES Loupe itself comes in 14 languages: English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 日本語, 한국어, Tiếng Việt, Español, Français, Deutsch, Português (Brasil), Türkçe, Bahasa Indonesia, العربية and ไทย. Translate from Japanese, Korean, Chinese, English, Spanish, French, German, Thai, Vietnamese and other languages supported by Apple's translation. FREE AND LOUPE PRO • Free: all four reading scopes with translations in place, for 5 minutes of live translation a day. • Loupe Pro: no daily time limit, plus Subtitle mode for translations in a clear, large-type panel. Choose monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase. • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. GOOD TO KNOW • Requires iOS 26 or later on iPhone, or iPadOS 26 or later on iPad. • Language packs are downloaded from Apple the first time you use a language, about 140–440 MB each. Loupe asks before any download starts. • LAN Live needs both devices on the same Wi-Fi, or the other device joined to your Personal Hotspot. • Content an app protects from screen recording, such as some streaming video, can't be read.
