Logge

Logge turns your iPhone or iPad into a complete ship's log – built for use on the water. On board Create a voyage in seconds and start logging right away. Every log entry records GPS position, course, speed (kn), wind force (Beaufort), wind direction, sea state, visibility, air pressure, water depth, water temperature, sail setting and engine status. GPS data is filled in automatically, and every entry shows how far you've come since the start of the voyage. Over a Wi-Fi connection (TCP or UDP), Logge connects to compatible chart plotters and NMEA multiplexers – position, course over ground, speed, wind, water depth and temperature go straight into every log entry. Boat & manoeuvres Choose sailing boat or motorboat – the forms show only the relevant fields. Quick actions for tack, gybe, reef, engine, anchor and more create pre-filled log entries, also via Siri or a shortcut, without picking up your iPhone. Automatic course-change detection suggests an entry as soon as your course changes noticeably. Air pressure is read from the iPhone barometer – even offline – with a trend arrow on every entry. Anchor watch When you're at anchor, Logge monitors an adjustable swinging circle and sounds an alarm as soon as the boat leaves it – even in the background and with a Focus active. Track recording Logge records your route in the background – even with the screen off. Distances are measured along the actual route, split into sailing, engine and time at anchor. The route map shows the voyage colour-coded. Voyage review & statistics Every completed voyage shows total distance, distance under sail and under engine, average and top speed, plus a wind rose, a weather history and the share under sail. The statistics tab sums up nautical miles, days at sea, engine hours, records and favourite ports – with a personal annual goal and filters by vessel and year. Sea miles certificate For sailing licence applications: choose your voyages and create a PDF sea miles certificate with total distance, days at sea, night miles and cruising area – signed on the spot with your finger or Apple Pencil if you like. Whether the certificate is accepted is decided by the issuing authority. Export, backup & organisation Export your complete logbook as a PDF in A4 landscape with a print margin, or each voyage's route as a GPX track for other navigation apps. Back up your logbook to a file and restore it at any time – merged instead of overwritten. Single voyages can be handed on as a file, for example to a co-skipper. Logge Pro One-time purchase, no subscription. Pro unlocks: your own goals (e.g. night miles or days at sea per year), the career certificate covering your entire sailing history as a PDF, free column selection in the PDF logbook, GPX import from your chart plotter, CSV export, plus season comparison, fuel analysis and cruising-area heat map. On iPad Voyage list and details side by side, the map with an inspector column, statistics as a tile grid, keyboard shortcuts and GPX files by drag & drop. Features: - Manoeuvre quick actions & automatic course-change detection - Siri & Shortcuts for log entries and manoeuvres - Anchor watch with adjustable radius and alarm - Background track recording, distance along the route - NMEA over Wi-Fi (TCP/UDP) with automatic reconnect - Filter log entries by type, undo deletion - Watch system with watch-change log and log reminder - Sea miles certificate as a PDF with night miles and signature - Crew list per voyage and saved vessel profiles - PDF and GPX export, backup, voyage export and import - Pro: your own goals, career certificate, PDF column selection, GPX import, CSV export, season comparison, fuel analysis, cruising-area heat map - iPad layout with two-column view and keyboard shortcuts Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
