Measure acceleration times such as 0–60 mph, 60–120 mph and 1/4 mile directly with your iPhone — accurately and without extra hardware. The app is designed so it doesn’t need to be operated while driving; you just set everything up beforehand while stationary. Measurements then start automatically — when the target speed is reached or when a start is detected. You can save results locally on your iPhone and, if needed, export them or transfer them to other devices. Preset timers: 60 ft, 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, 1 mile, 0 – 60 mph, 0 – 120 mph, 50 – 75 mph, 60 – 120 mph, 0 – 100 km/h, 0 – 200 km/h, 80 – 120 km/h, 100 – 200 km/h. All timers are, of course, fully adjustable. The free version measures up to two times per run. How to use the app: Check the timer settings on the start screen. If everything looks good, place your iPhone in the car where it has good GPS reception and is held securely, then start the acceleration test. You can adjust the timer configuration in the Settings screen (just tap the relevant timer). Then return to the race screen and follow the previous instruction. Optional PRO version (in-app purchase): 1. Up to four timers in parallel (instead of two) 2. Precise determination of elevation differences 3. Simulation of a Sportsman start and reaction-time measurement 4. No ad banners

About

Vroomist

Features

Vroomist turns your iPhone into a precision vehicle performance analyzer. Connect a RaceBox GPS, Dragy Lite device via Bluetooth for professional-grade measurements, or use your iPhone's built-in GPS. SPRINT MEASUREMENTS Measure acceleration times across any speed range. Built-in presets include 0-60 mph, 60-130 mph, 0-100 km/h, 100 - 200 km/h and dozens more. Create your own custom sprint specs for any speed range you want to test. DRAG RACING Track your 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, and full mile times with trap speed readouts. Add custom distance targets to match your local strip. SLOPE-CORRECTED TIMES Every sprint and drag result includes a slope-corrected time that estimates your flat-ground performance. Vroomist divides each run into segments and corrects each one individually based on its actual elevation change — so hills, dips, and rolling terrain are all accounted for, not just the difference between start and finish altitude. GPS LOGGING Record full GPS sessions to capture every detail of your run — speed, altitude, G-force, and distance — all timestamped and stored locally. REAL-TIME CHARTS Watch your speed, G-force, and altitude update live on a customizable chart. Adjust the time or distance window, tweak G-force smoothing, set dead zones, and zoom in for a closer look. After a run, compare multiple measurements side by side with overlay charts. SHIFT & SPEED ALERTS Set a shift point and Vroomist beeps when it's time to shift. Set a max speed alert and get notified the moment you hit it. Both work in the background while you drive. WEATHER & DENSITY ALTITUDE Vroomist automatically captures temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and density altitude with every measurement, so you can correlate performance with environmental conditions. SUPPORTED DEVICES • Dragy Lite (up to 25 Hz GPS, selectable 10/20/25 Hz sample rate) • RaceBox Mini (25 Hz GPS) • RaceBox Mini S (25 Hz GPS) • RaceBox Micro (25 Hz GPS) • iPhone Internal GPS (1 Hz) APPLE WATCH See your live speed, device connection status, and measurement results right on your wrist. DATA EXPORT Export individual results or bulk-download your entire measurement history as CSV files in a ZIP archive. Filter by measurement type and time range. Save chart images to your photo library. FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE • Metric or imperial units for speed, temperature, and distance • Custom sprint and drag specifications • Adjustable slow-run filters to automatically discard poor results • Chart draw rate, zoom, smoothing, and visibility toggles • Sound and haptic feedback options • Per-car measurement profiles PRIVACY FIRST Your data stays on your device. Vroomist stores everything locally with no cloud uploads, no accounts.
