Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Yale View at none against BBChat's shown. Yale View also leads on ratings volume (34 vs 2) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). BBChat's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 65%) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
