If you're looking to ace your next spelling test or just want to improve your spelling, Spell It is here to help you do just that. Add the words from this week's homework, and we'll turn them into practice you'll actually finish. Whether you're a student working through a weekly spelling list, a parent helping with homework at the kitchen table, or an adult brushing up on your own, Spell It works with the words you already need to learn — at any grade level. KNOW WHICH WORDS ARE STICKING Every word carries a confidence level — low, medium, or high — that rises as you practice. Every list shows its makeup at a glance, so you can see what's solid, what's shaky, and what to work on next. Today's practice picks out the words that need attention and points you at the activity that will actually move them. FIVE WAYS TO PRACTICE • Spelling Test Each of your spelling words is pronounced just like a standard spelling test. Enter each word from your spelling list one by one until you've spelled all the words. • Flashcards Flip through your spelling list one word at a time to reveal each definition, then mark whether you got it right. A quick, low-pressure way to review before test day. • Fill in the Blank Each of your spelling words has a letter missing. You must fill in the blank for each of your spelling words. • Word Scramble We scrambled all the words in your spelling list. Rearrange the letters back into the correct order. • Word Search Spell It places words from your spelling list into your very own word search. Find every word in the word bank to complete the puzzle. A PROFILE FOR EVERY SPELLER Add a profile for everyone practicing. Each one keeps their own lists, their own progress, and their own practice history, so everybody sees only their own words. NEVER MISS TEST DAY Set a test date and pick a time, and a daily reminder says who still has work to do and exactly how many words are left before the test. EVERY WORD YOU'VE PRACTICED, IN ONE PLACE My Words collects every word from every list into one searchable library, grouped by how well it's known. It matches the misspellings that were actually typed, too, so a word is easy to find whether or not it came out right. TRACK PROGRESS OVER TIME Add as many words to as many lists as you want — keep a separate list for every week or every subject. After each activity you'll see your results question by question, along with the time spent practicing and how scores have moved. Practice a few minutes a night instead of cramming the morning of the test. Every attempt is recorded, so you can watch scores improve as test day gets closer. SPELL IT PRO Every practice activity is free, along with your first profile. Spell It PRO adds up to six profiles, pronunciations recorded in your own voice, definitions you write yourself, and your full practice history. ----- Privacy Policy: https://spellit.app/privacy Terms and Conditions: https://spellit.app/terms

It utilizes the close association of visual, auditory and kinesthetic elements to help students improve their language skills. The beginning of the iPAD app assumes the student does not know the letters of the alphabet. The app then proceeds to teach all the skills one needs to read on a sixth grade level. This INTERACTIVE iPAD app uses graphics as a vehicle to teach: The sound & key word for each letter of the alphabet * Blending letters to form words * Reading Lessons * Writing Lessons * Spelling Skills * Language Skills * Dictionary Skills Extensive practice in reading, spelling and penmanship throughout the app Specific language skills taught include suffixes, prefixes, the six syllable types, consonant digraphs and blends, diphthongs, singular and plural nouns, apostrophe and contractions, punctuation, exceptional words (words to be memorized), sentence and paragraph structure, etc. Students and teachers can move to different lessons/modules in the program by utilizing the progress report. They can click on the "DOWN ARROW" after the short introduction. This will take them to a progress report. The names of the modules, in the program, are located on the left side of the screen (letter, reading, spelling, writing, language and dictionary lessons). When you "click" them, the voice will identify the name of the module. Next to each module are numbered buttons. These numbers correspond to the numbered lessons in the table of contents in the manual. One may click on the numbered button and go right to the lesson of their choice. Teachers can decide if they wish to have a student follow the sequence, as it is presented on the program, or may decide to use the program to reinforce a particular reading skill which was just introduced in class.
