Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
WAC+ holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WAC+ has 1.6K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of The Tick App's written reviews are positive against 16% of WAC+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
The Tick App ships an update every 2 months, WAC+ every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 10, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
