We know there are a lot of navigation apps out there, but after spending the past two decades out looking for adventure in classic cars with other enthusiasts, we realized that something critical was missing. Most apps are developed to get you from A to B, to make driving a route as mindless as possible. Rallista is different. Rallista focuses instead on taking “The road less traveled” — focusing on the journey, not the end points. At Rallista we want to facilitate new adventures — to show you roads you never knew existed. We want to help you make new driving memories and create new experiences to share with other enthusiasts. Whether you are winding your way through the hills and hollows of Tennessee in an NSX, making a cross-country jaunt in an M5, or taking some off road Yumps near Mt. St. Helens in a custom Rally Beetle, Rallista is an app that can help you plan your journey and share with others to enjoy. --- Create and navigate custom routes using waypoints to follow exactly the road sections you want. Drive alone with an impromptu route, a saved drive, or someone else's publicly shared drive. Drive with a group using a public or private event. Explore, build the route you want, and drive routes created by others. Depending on your interests you can drive solo or in an event with multiple other cars. Find paved and unpaved roads using the map color coding (white for paved, yellow for unpaved). See the location of other cars on an event. Create an account and keep track of your cars and driving stats. --- Support - https://rallista.app/feedback Privacy Policy - https://rallista.app/privacy Terms of Use - https://rallista.app/terms Driving Disclaimer - https://rallista.app/drivers --- Rallista Member & Professional Subscriptions Rallista Member and Professional are recurring subscriptions that will be charged to your iTunes account if you decided to purchase. Rusty Pilot Reminders requires an active subscription to access all features. A free 1-week trial is available for new subscribers. Rusty Pilot Reminders Stay current. Stay airworthy. Stay flying. Never get caught off-guard by an expired medical, a lapsed flight review, or an overdue annual again. Rusty Pilot Reminders is the all-in-one compliance tracker built by pilots, for pilots — keeping every FAA currency requirement and airworthiness deadline organized in one place. For Pilots Track everything that keeps you legal in the cockpit: Flight Reviews, Medical Certificates (Class 1, 2, 3, and BasicMed), Instrument Currency, and Day/Night Passenger-Carrying Currency. The app automatically calculates your expiration dates based on FAA rules — just enter your completion date and let it do the math. For Aircraft Keep your aircraft airworthy and inspection-ready. Track your Annual, 100-Hour, Transponder, ELT, and Pitot-Static inspections alongside engine hours, oil changes, magneto checks, and propeller time. Look up any aircraft by tail number to pre-fill make, model, and year — then add as many user-defined items as your aircraft needs. Always Know Where You Stand A color-coded dashboard gives you an instant green / yellow / red status for every pilot and every aircraft at a glance. Yellow means due within 60 days. Red means it's time to act. No more digging through logbooks or spreadsheets before a flight. FAA Airworthiness Directives Built In Search the FAA's AD database directly from the app. Applicable directives for your aircraft are fetched automatically and available offline, with one-tap access to the official PDF. Your Data, Your Device Everything is stored locally — no account required, no data sent to any server. Your logbook information stays private. Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Rusty Pilot Reminders at 5.0 against Rallista's 4.0. Rusty Pilot Reminders also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 69%). Rallista's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (34 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
