Think you're the best? Prove it at the table. Pool Playoff brings touch-controlled 8-ball and 9-ball to your phone. Start a quick computer game, build a solo career, search for an online rival, or invite your friends. FIND YOUR NEXT RIVAL Choose casual live 8-ball or climb the competitive player ladder. Arena live 1v1 matches use equal equipment, ready checks and a 45-second shot clock. When the arena is quiet, choose a clearly labeled computer rival for a one-rack exhibition. RISE SOLO Take on six computer levels in a solo career, set up an 8-ball or 9-ball exhibition, or pass the phone for a local match. Work on four challenges: four pots in a row, a clean break, running the rack and a scratch-free game. Solo progress is saved on this device. BRING YOUR CREW Share a friend-room link or code, keep several friend games available, and return to a recap of the latest shot. Create or join a club and follow personal statistics and the player ladder. Private, untimed 2v2 doubles brings four saved players to one table, with partners alternating every stroke. Invite your partner and both opponents to separate seats, then all four tap Ready. Friendly doubles uses equal equipment and awards no coins or ladder points. SET UP. AIM. LET IT FLY. Place the cue ball when prompted, drag on the felt to aim, then pull the left cue down and release. Selecting a target ball is optional. Open How to play for help with fine aim, shot power, follow, draw, stun and side spin. Switch aim zoom off whenever you want a clear table. FEEL THE RACK Hear the break crack, ball clicks and pocket drops. An original upbeat soundtrack and optional crowd reactions bring energy to the table. Music, table effects and crowd sound have separate controls. CONNECT YOUR APPLE GAMING PROFILE Connect to Apple Game Center from the Arena to open your Apple gaming profile and friends. Pool Playoff's online rooms and ladder use your Pool Playoff player account. PLAY FAIR Online friend rooms and matchmaking support 8-ball with equal equipment. 9-ball is available in solo and pass-and-play. Solo results do not award online rank or coins. Online play requires internet; public matching and purchases require a saved, verified player. Turn and arrival alerts can be managed in Profile. Background iPhone notifications require permission, and delivery is not guaranteed. Optional coin stacks use Apple In-App Purchase where available. There are no cash prizes, cash-out or real-money wagers.
