Plays best with headphones. Young radio reporter Patricia has just started her first job at a radio station. But immediately strange things begin to happen. Where is Richard, her friend and colleague who got her the job? He's been missing for three days. And who is tampering with Patricia's recordings? Solve mysteries and puzzles, explore environments and talk to characters. A short adventure game in classic point-and-click style with a small twist: The game can be played by using sound only! This is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Frequency Missing at none against SoundEcho's 1. Frequency Missing also leads on ratings volume (92 vs 3) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 17.0). SoundEcho's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoundEcho sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Frequency Missing asks for nothing beyond the download.
Frequency Missing holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Frequency Missing has 92 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Frequency Missing's written reviews are positive against 100% of SoundEcho's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
