Hemi holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hemi has 2.5K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Hemi's written reviews are positive against 63% of CymaScope Cymatics Visualizer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Hemi ships an update every 2 weeks, CymaScope Cymatics Visualizer every 12 months. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
