HapticNav® is a haptic navigation app, paired with an optional HapticNav® wristband, that gently guides you to your destination using vibration, without the need for any visual or audio feedback. Our patented Haptic Corridor™ works like a compass, giving you feedback based on the direction you are facing. When you are in the Haptic Corridor™ you feel no vibrations at all. When you turn you begin to feel a slight vibration. And that vibration gets stronger the more you turn away from the correct direction. We tested with 1000s of users and it is so intuitive, most can figure out the correct way to go without any instruction. In 2017, Wayband® made history when it helped the first person who is blind to run in the NYC marathon, without being tethered to a sighted guide. WearWorks® is a haptic platform company. We build products and experiences that communicate information through touch. Our mission is to reimagine the skin as a high fidelity communications channel capable of giving you information in a more intuitive and less obtrusive way. And our first goal is to revolutionize navigation for the sense of touch. 77% of global smartphone users use navigation apps monthly. Navigation is communicated entirely through vision and audition. For the billions of us who rely on mapping applications for our daily lives, is the need to constantly staring at a screen, or listening to a voice, while getting from one place to another really the best we can do? And even more, for the 285 million people world-wide living with a visual impairment, and the 466 million living with a hearing impairment, that status quo is inaccessible. We see a better way to navigate. One that frees your ears and eyes while giving you all the information you need directly through your natural sense of touch. Download the HapticNav® App to feel your way... anywhere. Terms: https://www.wear.works/terms-conditions
OnPace

Know at every checkpoint whether you are ahead of your plan or behind it. Set the times you usually pass a few points on the way: leaving home, the corner, the bus stop, the office. While you move, OnPace compares where you are with where the plan says you should be and shows the gap in minutes and seconds. It does not give directions. It tells you whether to hurry. ■ Making a route • Walking and driving routes from Apple Maps • Checkpoints filled in along the way • A route built from a trip you take • A window of its own at each checkpoint • Bus and subway legs ■ Before you leave • A departure reminder for each route • The route for the time of day, picked on its own ■ On the move • Minutes and seconds ahead of or behind plan • The next checkpoint and the time to pass it • Estimated arrival • Lock Screen card and Dynamic Island • An alert when you drift out of the window • Map pins where you mark boarding, getting off and more • Start from Control Center, Siri or Shortcuts ■ OnPace Pro • More routes: two to begin with, no limit with Pro • Tune from trips: checkpoint times set to the median of your recent trips, with the suggestions visible without Pro • Days for each route: departure reminders and the automatic pick follow them ■ Privacy • No personal data collected • No account and no sign-in • No ads and no outside analytics Set your usual route once, and the next time you head out you will know whether to run.

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: OnPace at weekly against HapticNav's every 3 weeks. HapticNav's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
