Fantasy football asks you to fill 15 squad places from hundreds of players, under a fixed budget and strict squad rules. Squad XI does the hard part. A FULL SQUAD IN SECONDS Tap once for a complete, legal squad: 2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders, 3 forwards, never more than 3 from one club, and the budget put to work. Your starting XI, formation, captain, vice-captain and bench order come with it. BUILT ON LIVE DATA Every player is rated on current prices, recent form, expected goals and assists, clean sheet and save rates, minutes played, injury status, and the difficulty of the next few fixtures. ALREADY HAVE A TEAM? Import your existing squad with your team ID, or enter your 15 by hand. Tell the app your bank and free transfers, and it shows which moves are worth making — including whether a four-point transfer hit pays for itself. AS MUCH CONTROL AS YOU WANT A short survey asks how much football you watch and how much you want to decide yourself. New managers get a finished team and plain English. Experienced ones get risk appetite, fixture horizon, form weighting, per-club limits, must-have players and a blocklist. CHANGE ANYTHING BY HAND Swap a player, bench someone, move the armband. Every change is checked against the squad rules, so you can't end up with an illegal team — and the app tells you why a player is unavailable rather than hiding them. NO JARGON REQUIRED A built-in glossary explains expected goals, expected assists, fixture difficulty, effective ownership, transfer hits, price changes and the rest in plain English, whenever you want it. ALSO INCLUDED • Save as many teams as you like and reload them at today's prices • Share your squad as an image or as text • Five colour themes and adjustable card detail • No account, no ads, no tracking — nothing leaves your device Squad XI is an unofficial, independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any football competition, club, or fantasy game provider.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: Byga at 31K against Squad XI's 2. Byga also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Squad XI's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
