Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pickrides at 60% against Elife Driver's 28%. Pickrides also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Elife Driver's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and rating (3.5 vs 3.3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Elife Driver holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elife Driver has 170 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Pickrides's written reviews are positive against 28% of Elife Driver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Pickrides ships an update monthly, Elife Driver weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
