About

Freedom Fone

Features

Freedom Fone gives you additional phone numbers in supported countries for everyday calling and messaging. Keep work, travel, marketplace and personal conversations separate without adding another physical SIM. The communications service is operated by Fortress Freedom Phone Ltd and the mobile app is distributed through the App Store by Socialiser App Ltd. Choose the numbers you need, fund a prepaid wallet, and manage every number from one app. You can use more than one number and release a number you no longer need. Privacy controls are built in: • Delete Fortress-held received messages after reading and sent copies after a send attempt, or delete all message content after 24 hours, after one week, or manually. • A recent-call view is available for redialling; Fortress excludes expired metadata from the API and physically deletes it within 24 hours. • Message text is encrypted in Fortress storage. • Push notifications contain no message text, sender or recipient. • Contact access is local-first. Optional encrypted cloud recovery is off by default and can be deleted at any time. • Account deletion removes communications, call records, devices and released-number records from Fortress systems. Important limitations: • Ordinary SMS and telephone-network calls are not end-to-end encrypted. • Mobile operators, telecommunications providers, app stores and other processors retain data under their own legal and operational requirements. • Some banks and online services reject VoIP numbers for verification codes. • Emergency calls are not supported in any country, including 999, 112 and 911. Use your mobile carrier or another telephone. • Internet access is required. Freedom Fone is for lawful personal and business communications. Spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, fraud, harassment and attempts to evade platform controls are prohibited.
