Local value exists everywhere. Coordination doesn't. A few streets away there is someone who drives your route every morning, someone who fixes sprinklers for fun, someone with the ladder you need once a year. You can't see them, and there is no easy, trusted way to ask. So we fall back on group chats and word of mouth — or on national platforms that organize by category, take a large cut, and know nothing about your neighborhood. Vicinity World organizes help by place first. One map shows what neighbors offer and need near home, near work, or along the routes you already drive — and lets the two of you coordinate directly, with payment captured only after the help happens.
