Terrible App!

App only works if you are a real estate agent. Not for homeowners. If anything goes wrong, they just claim it’s a spam/text message issue. Their customer support will not help you. They will claim they cannot by law but refuse to cite any law.

Hot trash

Never could get it to show my listing. Tried everything I could to try and get it to work. My realtor made several attempts to get it working. Absolutely terrible app.

Pretty useless

Pretty useless, from the moment that I opened it and marked, yes to showings that were requested. That worked, but looking at them and being able to see them as scheduled Tours or past scheduled so you could review them you could not see a thing.

When you are having multiple people request appointments and having multiple texts come in to confirm, it would be nice to be able to look at a calendar that actually worked.

Bad UX

App does a poor job of showing the homeowner a schedule view, instead I am relegated to an activity log to figure out what showing are happening. Also logs out without any possible explanation.

Red dot

I can not stand red dots on my apps. I can not get rid of the notification dot even when there are zero notifications. Contacted support, they were no help.

Decades old interface

The UI for this app is terrible and half of the APIs are barely functional or don't work at all. It's obvious this app is just on life support since Zillow bought it and fired any/all devs so hey could just plug it in to their ecosystem. Sad. Hoping a competitor (hell, or even a vibed app — where my wantrepreneur vibe coders at??) shows its face one day and eats their lunch! 🤞🤞

Who is writing these reviews?

Completely unusable for home sellers. Password reset is broken. No proper calendar integration. As a seller I can’t set times for showings, I have to have my agent do that. Then, IF it accepts the times, it proceeds to completely ignore them and allow buyers’ agents to request showings at times that are clearly within the prohibited blocks. I spend so much time declining and suggesting new times. Then it adds events to my calendar but then randomly removes them. No notifications in-app or by any other contact method for those removals. Did someone cancel a showing? You don’t get to know!

Did a team of monkeys write this?

Lousy interface

Wow - talk about doing the bare minimum. For an app directed at homeowners, this has an awful interface and ridiculously limited functionality. Seriously: coming from an internet-first company, this is embarrassing.

Calendar view for appointments? Nope. Direct link from the app to the Zillow listing? Not a chance. Ability to use a calendar interface to recommend better times for a showing, making it easier on users? Hah! How about making everyone’s lives easier by allowing homeowners to pre-block bad times so realtors can actively know when their requests might be turned down and plan around those times? I’m sorry, what do you think this is: an app built by people educated in post-2002 UX practices? Get real.

So, SO many ways to improve it to bring it up to even late-2010s standards - and none are in it. If I didn’t have to use it, I absolutely wouldn’t.

Seller needs more options

As a seller, there should be more options for control over showings and times. I understand that each realtor’s company probably has their own preferences but the sellers should have more discretion and be able to adjust their preferences to suit their needs without having to constantly contact their agents. You should also be able to reconfirm showings and have transparency of the agents and companies that show your property. Reconfirming is key during bad weather. Especially for those people with pets and small children or those that work from home. I have had multiple people show up after their scheduled appointment because the agent scheduled incorrectly. It’s not a terrible app but it could be so much better.

Basic functionality isn't working

We receive showing requests, confirmations and cancellations, but it doesn't notify us when agents open the lock box or relock it.

Now it has begun accruing badges despite clearing notifications but the app doesn't show under “notifications” in settings to turn badges off.

My agent contacted support several months ago about us not receiving notifications despite all of the options being checked to receive them.

I hope it is fixed soon. It would be amazing if it would just notify us about when people enter and leave.

Notifications won’t go away

Incredibly annoying that notifications stay regardless of what you do to get rid of them. Click on everything, mark all as read, doesn’t matter. Then randomly they will disappear

Does not work

SOOOOO frustrating. Allows you to select Face ID but then it tells you that they don’t have that it will not let me reset my password I cannot get into this app

iCloud Keychain

Better integration with iCloud Keychain is needed.

A Must-Have Tool for Realtors

As a realtor, I can’t recommend the Home by ShowingTime app enough! This app has truly transformed the way I manage showings and communicate with my clients, making the entire process smoother and more efficient.

One of the standout features of the app is its ability to keep my clients informed. They receive real-time notifications about their showings, whether they’re approved or cancelled. This level of communication not only keeps my clients updated but also fosters trust and confidence throughout the process.

In summary, Home by ShowingTime is an invaluable tool for any realtor. It keeps my clients informed throughout the showing process and significantly improves communication. If you’re in the real estate business, I highly recommend having your clients download this app early into your search. It has truly made a positive impact on my interactions with clients!

Frustrating sign up process

The set up process for this app is absolutely infuriating. Multiple email attempts, which take you to the App Store, to a Safari webpage to an infuriating registration process. Text notification that we have a scheduled showing requires me to create my own Google calendar, which sinks perfectly on my iPhone. This app is not seeing the showing that I am being notified of Knorr. Is it allowing me to add a calendar on my iPhone. After this initial set up process, how am I supposed to trust this with selling my home?

Nice try- but worthless unless agent buys in

Not able to see showing agent's information, never showed when agent was finished with appointment- making this app a nice effort but completely worthless for this home seller.

So frustrating

Can’t create an account because it keeps sending me in circles. I’ll tap the button in the email to create the account, then I am back to square one. This is super frustrating while trying to sell our house and get viewers feedback.

Nice try- but worthless

Not able to see showing agent's information, never showed when agent was finished with appointment- making this app a nice effort but completely worthless fir home sellers.

Good can be better

I’ve used this now ( as seller) for some days. Mainly it works well to help me coordinate showings but I see two ways it could be better. For one the function that supposedly lets me know when an agent and buyer have finished a showing never works- it always reports that it is unable to determine … More importantly there needs to be some way to organize the feedback messages from visitors. A start would be to list the in the sequence of the showings — they seem random now. But then it would be very useful to allow the user to sort them into categories — at least to distinguish those that report some interest in the property from those that don’t or perhaps to impose on the list an order of interest or to add a note or ranking. This needs some thought but now this list is very frustrating. Here’s another thought: in the feedback section there should be an option to share a feedback via the standard sharing panel. Another minor suggestion: the back button on the page with appointment detail is too close to the info button so that I constantly hit the wrong one.
