Info: A clock chime is a melody that plays at set intervals, usually on the hour, to signify the passing of time. These chimes are commonly heard from grandfather clocks, carillons, or bell towers, and different melodies are often tied to specific locations or towers. A striking clock, also called a chiming clock, audibly strikes the hours on a bell or gong. In the typical 12-hour striking system, the clock strikes once at 1:00 AM, twice at 2:00 AM, and continues up to twelve times at 12:00 PM. It then repeats the process from 1:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Note: Ensure notifications are enabled for the chimes to work properly. Notification sound will be disabled if the phone is in Low Power Mode, Do Not Disturb mode, or Sleep mode. Yondazo is a reading log app that helps you track every book you finish and reflect on your reading journey from three different angles: monthly totals, year-over-year comparisons, and all-time growth. On Apple Intelligence-compatible devices, you can also get on-device AI insights into your reading habits — fully private, fully local. ■ THREE CHARTS TO VISUALIZE YOUR READING See how much you've read this month with the monthly bar chart, compare this year against last year with the year-over-year view, and watch your reading habit build over time with the cumulative line chart. Switch between the three views to look back on your reading journey from every angle. ■ AI READING INSIGHTS, PROCESSED ON-DEVICE On Apple Intelligence-compatible devices, on-device AI analyzes your reading habits and surfaces patterns you might not have noticed on your own — favorite genres, go-to authors, and your natural reading rhythm. Everything runs locally on your iPhone. Your reading data never leaves the device and is never sent to any server. It's private AI reading analysis — with nothing ever sent to the cloud. * On devices that don't support Apple Intelligence, you can still explore your reading trends through detailed statistics. ■ NOTES, RATINGS & GENRES FOR EVERY BOOK Jot down your thoughts after finishing a book, give it a 5-star rating, and tag it with a genre. Each entry becomes part of your personal reading journal, so you can revisit what you read and how you felt about it. Bookmark your favorites to find them again with a single tap. ■ A BEAUTIFUL BOOKSHELF, ALL YOURS Every book you add appears in a beautiful cover grid — a bookshelf that's entirely yours, ready to browse anytime. Prefer a cleaner view? Switch to list mode with a single tap. ■ ADD BOOKS IN SECONDS WITH BARCODE SCAN Just point your camera at a book's barcode. The title, author, publisher, and cover are added automatically — no tedious typing required. For older titles without a barcode, you can search and add them by title. ■ YOUR DATA, SAFE AND PORTABLE Your reading history matters. That's why Yondazo gives you the tools to keep it safe. • Full backup and restore (JSON format) • Seamless data transfer when you switch devices • Automatic migration from older versions ■ WHO IT'S FOR • Readers who want a simple way to log the books they finish • Anyone curious about how many books they read each month • People who like comparing this year's reading with last year's • Readers who enjoy reflecting on their habits through data • Anyone who wants AI to help them spot patterns in their reading • Readers who like keeping notes and impressions of each book

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Yondazo at Free against Chime Clock's $2.99. Yondazo also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.6) and update cadence (every 6 months vs every 34 months). Chime Clock's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
