About

CivilStamp

CivilStamp is the field app for California process servers. Take the door photo, record every attempt and end up with a signed service record, a clean PDF for the attorney or the court. AB 747 starts January 1, 2027: every attempt needs a photo of the door with its time and place. CivilStamp stamps them for you. AT THE DOOR Tap Take a photo. CivilStamp prints the time, date, GPS coordinates and case on a label under the photo, so nothing in the picture gets covered, and keeps the original file as well. Photo Check looks the shot over before you save: sharp or blurry, too dark, whether the house number from the case shows up and how far you are from the address. When taking a photo isn't safe, record that instead, with the reason. YOUR DAY ON A MAP Every open case goes on one map. Plan route puts the stops in order, nearest first, with the drive time for each, and Today keeps the next stop in front of you. Tap a stop for directions, Look Around or to record a visit. CASES Scan the summons and CivilStamp fills in the case number, the person to serve, the case title and the documents. Type the address and pick it from Apple Maps suggestions. Each case keeps its visit trail: personal attempts, how many different days and times, substituted service, posting and the mailing that follows. REPORTS Export one record or the whole case as a PDF: a map of the visits, a service log, every photo and a declaration under penalty of perjury. Sign the case's service record on the phone with Face ID or your passcode before you share it. You can also share a single record as an evidence package: the PDF, the stamped photo and the untouched original. FOR AGENCIES Process-serving companies and sheriff's and marshal's offices run their cases on civilstamp.com. Your agency emails you a link and a code, and you sign in with Apple, Google or email. The cases it assigns you show up in the app, with a notice when new ones arrive, and the visits you record go to the office with their photos. Reports carry the agency's letterhead, and a sheriff's or marshal's office gets a certificate of service. YOUR DATA On your own there's no account, no ads and no tracking, and records stay in CivilStamp on your iPhone until you share them. When you join an agency, the visits you record on its cases go to that agency. Its cases show on your phone only while you're signed in, and leave it when you leave the agency. Photo Check and scanning run on the phone. Back up everything to one file and restore it on a new iPhone. On your own: $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year. Your first 10 photos are free. Monthly or yearly access unlocks unlimited new photos. Lifetime access bought before keeps working. Existing records, exports, backups and safety records without photos stay available without a plan.
