Barnabas is a private app for the volunteer helps-ministry of a single church community. It is not a public service — access is by invitation, and requests are visible only to that church's volunteer team. Barnabas keeps a church's helping-hands ministry organized. When a member or a neighbor needs practical help — a home repair, a project, support with a disability or a daily need — they submit a request. A dedicated team of volunteers takes it from there. Built for the volunteers and coordinators who do the serving. Requests, matched to the right people Members and neighbors submit requests for help. The volunteer team reviews each request privately — requests are visible only to the team — and the right people step up. Coordinators assign helpers and track the work from request to done. A team that knows its strengths Every volunteer lists their skills, tools, equipment, and availability. A searchable directory makes it easy to find who can handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, moving, yard work, and more. Coordinate as a team Group and direct messaging keep the team in sync, and push notifications make sure no request or update slips through. Coordinators can reach the team by notification, text, or email. Simple, private sign-in Sign in with your phone number — no password to remember. Requests and member information stay within your team. We never sell your data or use it to track you. "Barnabas" means son of encouragement.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Barnabas Team at 5.0 against fanSync WiFi's 1.4. fanSync WiFi's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Barnabas Team holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: fanSync WiFi has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
